28 CALLED UP FOR WOMEN'S PREPARATORY CAMP IN GOA AHEAD OF ASIAN CUP QUALIFIERS

NEW DELHI: The Indian Women’s Senior National Team gearing up for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers kicked-off their preparatory camp in Goa today (March 01, 2017).

India has been drawn in Group B alongside hosts DPR Korea, Korea Republic, Hong Kong and Uzbekistan. The Indian Women will clash swords against hosts DPR Korea in their first match of the Qualifying campaign on April 03, 2017 before facing Korea Republic on April 05, Uzbekistan, and Hong Kong on April 07 and April 11, 2017 respectively.

28 Players have been called up for the preparatory camp, which ends on March 31, 2017 before the Indian Women leave shores for DPR Korea.

The list of the 28 Players follows below:

GOALKEEPERS: Panthoi Chanu, Vijaya Kumar, Roshini Devi, Aditi Chauhan

DEFENDERS: Ashalata Devi, Radharani Devi, Umapati Devi, Manisa Panna, Dalima Chhibber, Poli Koley, Sweety Devi, Poonam Sharma

MIDFIELDERS: K Sumithra, Premi Devi, Indumathi Kathiresan, Sangita Basfore, Dangmei Grace, Lochana Munda, Sasmita Malik, Ratanbala
